The idea for Simplified Environmental started with an engineer who had worked for private industry and also supported EPA as a contractor inspector. This experience showed that some consultants were being paid to do calculations that were completely redundant. If the federal government can find a qualified expert to visit your facility and thoroughly recreate your TRI data in a few days, you should be able to make an automated system for reporting in roughly the same amount of time. And you should be able to excitedly update it before your second cup of coffee on January 2^nd. Not everyone will be that eager, but they will be that prepared.
